At Mindful Living, located in Croydon in Melbourne’s East, we are seeking a dedicated Practice Administrator. You will be part of a team of three practice administrators, making this role ideal for someone who excels in customer service and is adept at managing the administrative tasks of our bustling clinic.

This role is an ongoing part time employment position consisting of the following hours:

  • Monday – 9.30am to 5pm
  • Wednesday – 2.30pm to 6pm
  • Thursday – 9.30am to 5pm
  • Friday – 2.30pm to 6pm

The Role

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic mental health private practice. In the Practice Administrator role, you will be responsible for providing reception services for our clients and administrative support to our team and Practice Manager.

This role will be based at our stunning clinic in Croydon and will primarily be during business hours. There is scope to increase hours to potentially include evenings and Saturdays as our team grows. Some working from home might be possible for the right candidate, but it will be predominantly clinic-based.

A typical week in your Practice Administrator role at Mindful Living will involve:

  • Completing intake calls for new clients
  • Allocating new clients to therapists
  • Greeting clients and providing an exceptional customer service experience
  • Providing administrative support to our clinical team and Practice Manager
  • Responding to client enquires and managing appointments via phone and email
  • Processing payments and rebates
  • Filing and data entry

  • Experience in allied health settings, ideally within the mental health sector
