Clinical Supervisor and Senior Clinician
Madeleine (she/her) is a Clinical Supervisor and Senior Clinician at Mindful Living. She is a registered Psychologist, Accredited EMDR Consultant and Animal Assisted Therapist and works alongside her therapy dog Lachlan. She has experience supporting people with a range of mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, grief, loss, transition difficulties, identity issues, trauma (including complex childhood trauma), family violence, and sexual assault. She has a special interest in dissociative disorders like DID, grief and loss and spiritual aspects of psychology.
Madeleine welcomes First Nations people, people from the LGBTQI+ community, people with neurodiversity, people with disabilities, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Madeleine is passionate about assisting people solve life’s problems and recover from the past. She teams EMDR with animal assisted therapy, parts work, acceptance and commitment therapy and mindfulness, solution focused therapy and schema-focused therapy. Madeleine’s approach is enthusiastic, warm, accepting and gentle and she works to create a safe space for people.
Madeleine has had a broad and varied experience of life, starting her working life as a chef at a top Melbourne restaurant and running her own business to working in retail, along with working in the aged and disability sector and community health. She loves unwinding in her garden or at the beach, yoga, her pets, travelling and parties.
