Resources

We have gathered some resources that we hope you find helpful, including tip sheets and audio tracks. Please return to this page as often as needed and feel free to share with anyone who you think could find these resources helpful.

Tip sheets

Below are links to some PDF tip sheets we have created to help you with a range of topics, from mindfulness to managing panic attacks. Some of these strategies may seem a bit strange at first , but with practice they can become your ‘new normal’.

It is often best to try these out a few times during lower stress moments, as it can be a challenge to focus on written instructions when distressed! The more you practice them, the easier they will come to you in higher stress situations. These PDF files can be downloaded and shared.

Audio Tracks

Our very own Caroline Burrows, EMDR Trainer and Director of Mindful Living, has recorded some audio files to help you explore mindfulness and meditation. Four of the audio files are for children, including two bedtime meditations.

It is often best to try these out a few times during lower stress moments, as it can be a challenge to focus on written instructions when distressed! The more you practice them, the easier they will come to you in higher stress situations.

Websites and Telephone Services

Below is a short list of some helpful websites that may be worth exploring, as well as some telephone numbers for services available to help during a crisis. It is often worth saving these numbers into your phone so you don’t have to go hunting during an emergency.
